Christmas 2010 Newsletter

Well they say good things come to those who wait, at last our first newsletter!

As the last few days of 2010 are coming to an end we wanted to time our first newsletter to reflect on some of our many highlights from the season as well as look ahead to the very busy and exciting 2011 that is fast approaching! This year has not only been a very busy one, with all our ‘core summer season’ holidays selling out but also one of several very exciting new developments for Shetland nature.

New Developments

One of the most recent developments and one that we are very pleased about is becoming ‘Opinion Leaders’ for Zeiss, which we will very soon in the New Year be posting news on. Earlier in the year we set up a similar association with Stealth Gear – wildlife photography clothing specialists. Having the right kit for what we and our clients do is essential and we are extremely proud to use both and thoroughly recommend them both.

On-going close working relationships and affiliations

Once again this year we have been very pleased to have been working with Simon King. Brydon spent over a week with Simon and team working on an TV advertising commercial for Shetlands tourism promoters, Promote Shetland, which will hopefully be screened in the new year. Brydon also played an influential role in the putting together of his 2011 debut holiday, Simon Kings Ultimate Shetland Safari, which Brydon will be co leading with Simon, John Campbell and Helen Moncrieff.

Brydon has also been chosen by Simon to be one of his Team of Wildlife Whisperers – which is due for official launch at The Outdoor Show 13th -16th January.

We are also very pleased with our association with leaders in the bird watching media Birdwatch and Bird Watching Magazine’s and have had fantastic responses to both our reader holidays which we ran this year and are again doing so in 2011.
